good to mention, also make sure to unblock this server if you have anything like noscript or other javascript blockers. it doesn't seem to fix it for everyone however

When I close out of my game and then click on the like provided above the only thing that comes up is my inventory. No map, no actions, not town menu, etc...

What worked for me :
- login as usual
- no ac(ion" screen appears...
- in a new browser tab, go to http://movoda.net/#
... chopping wood now

Whoever's so-called running & maintaining Movy..is IN MY OPTION, DOING A LOUSY JOB. NO WONDER IT IS LOSING PLAYERS BY THE DROVES (A FACT). 'IF' THE GAME IS SHUTTING DOWN/ ENDING.. LET US KNOW. IT'S CALLED HAVING RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO STUCK BY THE GAME. Some us have stuck by the games for MANY YEARS (MYSELF more than 7 yrs. of My Own Life). I am a patient person..BUT, when I'm done... I'M DONE.(Yes, even patients has an end). & I'm almost there.

Nobody is saying the game is shutting down. This happends from time to time.
I think around this time last year the same thing happend.

I don't see why this is such a big deal. The game is working fine for me, and I'm not the only one. If it's not working for you, then there's something you are doing wrong I guess.

"TY" Horda & Iroh....but,for some of us, this only bring ablack screen. It was worth a try, though. & Yes, I do pass on the suggestion of a fix like this, but,they are not working for most. I respect your compassion & thoughtfulness of those who are unselfish. "THANK YOU AGAIN" TO THOSE PEOPLE.

i can understand i device maybe 2 but 4 not being able to get off the purple server is annoying. tried all the suggestions and still same issue can't move or work goes straight to https and all i can do is chat manual or forum

Horda has the work-around however I find it does not work on Chrome or Edge (forces both windows to secured (https) and had to do it on FireFox.

For Chrome, go to chrome://net-internals/#hsts
In "Delete domain security policies" enter "movoda.net", then hit delete.
Might take a few times to work but it will, eventually.

Protoculteur, though I appreciate your willness to help people defeat the security put in place by Chrome. I will not do that and would advise others not to disable security put in place by their browser just to play a game.
I will only use Firefox for a this game while it is broken. I am not going to open my PC to the wild west of malicious sites out there on the internet just to play Movy. That would just be unwise.

Well, for those of us that go http, security is disabled for Movoda and Movoda only. Other sites can still be browsed in secure mode. I don't see the harm in that.

I would recommend only entering passwords or other sensitive information when in secure mode. That can be done before switching to http.

i changed browsers , i did the http thing that usually works !
i even went as far as to try and log in on my phone but no such luck !
its all good cause i know one day , its not gonna load

phone running android and a computer running linux use 2 different animals and neither worked !!

stuck on town screen unable to access guild, do any activity or move. I checked downdetector and saw there were some cloudflare outtages. I'm assuming this could be the issue. Let me know if you are having similar issues.

this is what I had to do to get functionality
go to opera browser, settings, privacy & security, security, deselect "Always use secure connections", then log in using http://movoda.net

Pattern ive found is holidays that are coming soon break the game. soon as holiday starts the game works. Just happened with Crafting and happened last with Smithing holiday.

Personally, I think it may have more to do with the security certificate having expired and then being renewed on the 23rd January.
It expires again on the 23rd/24th April.

The game isn't broke, there are many millions of vessi available - I think there is even a page somewhere showing how much exactly?
Though it would be a challenge to get a security certificate with those vessi.
