Elyssia is another text-based RPG but it stands out with the diversity of skills. If you like the regular skills like fishing, cooking, harvesting (divided as harvesting -picking- and gardening -planting), mining, crafting etc., you can find them all here. But you have also very enjoyable and different other skills, like making glass, fletching, navigation (which allows you to roam the seas and create some maps for bonus xp), exploration (a different skill from speed), woodworking, creature handling etc. So you probably will find at least one skill that you like.

The way I understand, botcheck is every 60 minutes or so; but you can reduce that time under options - > combat options (so you will not die due to too long afk combat). There is a donation option to extend the botcheck up to 6 hours for 7 days. There are actually some nice donation options, and you get a small amount of donation points once a day for logging in.

There is no timer reducing food as far as I know and there are not many pieces of equipment that are very easily available for that purpose, either; but the timers are on the reasonable side.

Currently we have a Christmas island, where you can train skills (and you need no resources for speed or exploration, if nothing else) and get some gift cards -which you can trade for special equipment -I get them from exploration at least. This is why I am posting now, so anybody who wants to join will not miss this special event.

I love this game and the skills I train there, so I just wanted to spread the word.
