This is the spot where you can request to have your username changed. It will take effect as soon as it is approved by a mod, if you log off in the meantime remember to try both names when logging back in as it may change in the meantime. Your password will remain the same, just the username will change.
Every account gets one free name change to be able to deal with things like mistyping when registering or accidental near-duplicate names. Due to popular demand the option to pay for addition name changes has now been added. This is still limited to only once every 6 months and will cost 100 Quainium coins. The form below will give the options for collecting payment if your free name change has been used.
And a couple other FAQs before the actual form:
- This is not a good way to hide your identity, your player ID will remain the same and it is fairly trivial for anyone to track who has had their name changed and what it changes to.
- Yes changing your name back to a name you had previously counts exactly the same as changing it to something completely different would.
- Once you click 'Request Name Change' your Q-coins will be taken, and there is no way to refund them. After clicking, you are committed to the change even if your name is not approved.
