A) Don't hunt in Moskim. It will kill you this early on.
B) Using skills opens new beginners quests. It's worth clicking town names to check for quests, but might not want to do them immediately. Some quests are timed and Can be failed so be warned
C) Timers do get lower. Gain levels, they go down. Also magic and foods help.
D) Raising skills also opens new links in towns, so a little gain in each skill is useful. It's okay to shop around.
E) Small things like gems, cards and magic fish can be sold in Etchin at the auction house. Because it charges a fee by weight bulky raw materials aren't good for that. Yelling out you have something in chat is a good way to sell anything, really.
F) Things that get you muted: spam, cussing, and the modbot being an idiot. Early mutes are short so learn from your mistakes; They get much longer.
G) Avoid multiple clicking squares for bot checks, it can set you up for nothing but numbered bot checks for about a week.
