Here's the test information I grabbed-
First raid, loss, 1200 points, over 15 defenders, killed a defender, rank 66 both Addy and Me there, there was a kill
Second Raid, win, 200 points, a no show by the defense, rank 63 just me there.
Third Raid, win, 180 points, no show by the defense, rank 7, addy and me both there.
Fourth Raid, win, 190 points, no show by defense, 1 rank below me (Rank 79), just me there
Fifth Raid, win, 186 points, no show by defense, 1 rank below me (rank 78), just me there
Sixth Raid, loss, 500 points, 3 defenders, 2 ranks above me (rank 76) Just me there no kill, similiar levels except for the low one
Seventh Raid, win, 185 points, no show by defense, 4 ranks above me (rank 73), just me there
Eighth Raid, win, 186 points, no show by defense, artifact, 21 ranks above me, me and addy both there.
Ninth Raid, loss, -9 points, no show by attackers, rank 12, no one there
10th raid, loss, 300 points, 2 defenders, TAOM, just me there
11th raid, win, 800 points, 1 defender, 30 ranks above us, just me there.
12th raid, loss, no points, 7 defenders, rank 1, me and addy there. Overwhelming show of defensive power, too strong to possibily be won.
My thoughts?-
Attacking with no defender- Comes out to around 200 points, giving less the higher up the defender is.
Attacking with a defender and losing- If the defense is an overwhelming show, show up, you're fine. You won't gain any points, or at least not much, and you might even lose some. If the defense has low level fighters, but still can kill you, do NOT show up, you will gain outrageous amounts of points, 600 and up.
Attacking with a defender and winning- This comes out to about the same as the losing method, if there's a lot of low level defenders you're going to end up gaining a LOT of points. kills give more than the raid ever can.
Attackers no show- I do not know if this depends on the size of the enemy or not, but i do know that this is the recommended thing if you're attacking and the enemy is way too big to fight, instead of trying to taco it out, just do not show up. You actually lose points, and could lose a rank this way. It's a minimum amount of points, maybe it gets bigger but I saw it around losing 10 points. The amount of people appears not to matter except for calculating average combat levels against your enemies, so it would only matter if you brought a lot of low level meatshields during raids you know there are going to be defenders, that way you have a less obvious force. However, depending on their level, the average does not average out properly, it is a bell curve, but this does not come from my most recent observations, it comes from something I got a while ago.
I hope that helps your raiding pleasures
Now not all of this above is accurate, but I'll sum it up here-
#1- The raiding guild takes most of the blame.
No matter how strong the other guild is, how bad the defense is, the raiding guild will get the maximum penalty for the attack.
On a no show, this will come out around 200 points. Will explain later.
Otherwise, this is found out by the ratio of damage from attackers to defenders, recorded by the individuals and added up, the more damage you do the more points you gain. Kills do -not- count.
#2- Wins and Losses do matter.
Alright, the history goes into two separate records, this is really a simple combat system, the first one is the damage, the second is whether it's a win or a loss.
As found out by no shows by the defender, a win for the attacker is 200 points. A loss for the attacker is no points, though.
#3 Combinations-
Alright, now to show you what all of this means-
Attacker- No Show 0 points Defender No Show Technically a win, so you gain a percentage of what the attacker gains, based on your rank in relation to theirs. (I go showing what happens with each scenario)
Attacker- Show 200 Points Defender No Show- Loss, 0 points
Attacker No Show- 0 Points Defender Show- Win, so again, rank relation
Attacker- Show ~ Points Defender Show ~ Points- Possible Win or loss, damage will do the add first, fair warning is a maximum penalty is applied on your first one of these in a 30 day period. It's around 600 points, which can be pretty major.
So this is what I got :D
