Movoda App – Coming Soon
This Current Project is On Hold Due to My Schooling And Some Real Life Issues I Must Take Care of.

Why a Movoda App? Movoda already works on my Device?
- Though Movoda does work on phones such as iPhone and Android devices, you can not run it in the background. For example, load the Full version of Movoda into your Android or iPhone device. Now lock the screen or use a different app. Come back to Movoda in 5–10 minutes. You have did nothing since you left. This is due to devices saving bandwidth/battery by halting the web browser from running in the background. This is great if you are on a badly programmed site that doesnt stop loading stuff. Or one that has ads that change, causing the site to be refreshed. Or in our case Movoda constantly updating.
How Will the Movoda App Get Around this?
- By creating a service for the app, we can control the updates to the application as a service. this will allow the app to continue to upgrade even though its not the front most application on your phone.
Current Progress
- 11/16/2010: I know progress has been slow, but I have been toying around with UI concepts, along with the debate on programming it in java and porting it in wrappers to the iphone along with windows mobile 7, and android, with a possible future for Blackberry and Mee Go?. The other idea is to put it in Adobe Air, which means for iPhone users, your completely out of luck.
