Hi kids (you are number 778 reading this), so you decided to start fishing right? Well, there are some basic information for you in here to be more familiar with this skill itself.
Firstly, Movoda offers a large variety of fishes to catch, basicly, you will be able to catch a new fish every 5 levels – sometimes even faster.
I will not tell you how to make money, it is quite obvious that you just have to sell what you catch and so on.
The main goal of this small guide is to show you, what is the fastest way to level up while fishing – keep in mind, that if you choose this path, at the very begining you will have to rely on some external sources of income, since you wont be able to donate any of the cought fish.
Since you just started, move around and get the furcoat (if it is winter – you wont be able to fish without it in cold places, if it is summer – you wont be able to fish with it in warm places). Yeah, i know it only gives -1 fishing time, but it still counts, especialy in the begining.
- Go to ponat pier, equip rod and furcoat. Catch 325 Macks. Store them in your house together with all the magic fishes you got. YES, I mean store! Do not sell anything !!!
- Go to Lake Essdar. Level 5 – Catch 1546 Bass. Store it all along with all the Magic fishes. Do not sell. Obviously dont forget to steal Ring of The Fish from your compound or friends.
- Stay at Lake Essdar and focus on flounder, you will need to catch 3710 of those. Sell them or exchange for Raw Bass or Macks. Store the magic fishes.
- Go catch haddock, do the smae as with flounder, sell them or exchange for raw macks/bass.
- At level 20, go do all available fishing quests:
- The Royal Bass
- Helping a Young Warrior
- Brotherly Competition
- The Family Rod
- The Family Hat
- Mack Daddy
Technicly those quests give a few items you can use and a few magic fishes, which you should store. At level 20 you unlock Tuna fishing and bait making – While Tuna sucks much (incredibly big timer and no real usage), bait making is the best option of yours, that is where you use all your stored/exchanged macks and bass.
Probably you wont have enough raw macks/bass to bring you to level 25 straight, so if you run out – go sail with HMS a few trips, catch fishes over side(sell
Haddock / Salmon / Flounder? and make bait from macks again).
- Once you reach level 25, focus on sharks – they are great for catching magic fishes too, which you are storing.
- Level 30 – i do hope that you actually can use Crystal ball (well I could when reached Oyster fishing. Stay on them till you reach level 15 magic. After that, go to HMS over Stern fishing.
Train your fisher spell as high as possible before even trying to waste fishsticks to train it further. I started to use fishsticks for fisher spell when it was at level 15, but clearly the higher it is trained, the more benefitial it is to start using fishticks.
After you got your fisher spell, there`s nothing much to learn for you more.
HMS over Stern (especialy after level 40 fishing) will still stay your best fishing spot while fishing normaly, while Lobsters, or any boat fish (swordfish/barracuda/amberjack) will be your best xp boost while with Foods.
