The grizzled warrior stared over the battlements. He had been awoken by the beating of the drums a few minutes before. He knew they were coming, but he still couldn't see them yet still lurking in the trees. The barks of orders washed over him. He didn't hear them. He didn't need to hear them. He could tell the situation just by the tones of the voices around him, and it was far from good. Lifting his head he smelled the air. The smoke, sweat and fear was pungent. He could hear the war machines now, getting closer.

Reaching inside his armour he fondled at one of the pockets within. Finally he untied the knot and pulled out two small folded pieces of paper. He opened the first and smiled. It was a letter from his beloved who lived a good safe distance from the hell hole he stood in now. He carefully folded the letter and placed it back in the pocket it came from. he then looked at the second piece of paper and unfolded it. It read:

“And Caesar's spirit, raging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry “Havoc!” and let slip The Dogs of War,
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial."

The inspiration he had needed so badly had arrived at last. “Get me a messenger!” he barked. “Send word to Moskim! We need our allies, The Dogs of War!”

About The Guild:

The Dogs of War have had a troubled past. Although established almost a year ago The Dogs of War have failed to thrive as well as some other guilds established around the same time mainly due to some abusive and exploitive members who had managed to give the guild a reputation as theives. With Rehim at the helm, and with considerable assistance from farmerboy, The Dogs of War have purged themselves of theives quite some time ago, and are now having quite some success with erasing the poor reputation they once had.

With a stable core of experienced players and the future firmly in mind the Dogs of War look to improve themselves as a guild, focusing more on the qualities of the player behind the character rather then the character's abilities. Using teamwork and comaraderie the guild look to help each other develop themselves to the fullest as people, as characters, and as a team.

The Dogs of War have players ranging in age from teenagers through to the 70's showing that age itself isn't a problem, but the guild does demand a certain level of maturity. The guild are not shy of giving people chances but will tolerate little nonesence. The guild also expects its members to show no disrespect to the community of Movoda without just cause.

The Dogs of War look forward to meeting you, and forming a friendship weather you choose to be with them, or weather you should choose to join another another great guild.
